Multiband Antennas
MTW has developed unique array multiband antenna designs covering a wideband frequency range to reduce small Network operators CAPEX. The low cost, low gain modules cover the most popular used IT frequencies from 2.1 to 6.0 GHz with gains of 10 and 16 dBi.
MTW also has 2 medium gain antenna modules, one with a gain of 20 dBi covering 3.0 to 6.0 GHz and another one that is MIL qualified unit covering the NATO frequency band of 4.0 to 6.0 with a gain of 27 dBi.
MTW has also developed a low profile Slot antenna module, with separate transmit and receive antennas in one module covering the new IT band of 24.25 to 25.25 GHz. The antenna is designed with one side transmitting in the horizontal polarity and the other on the vertical polarity. This type of topology gives isolation between transmit and receive antennas of more than 70 dB, thus eliminating the need for filtering and duplexing of the signals.
