Rigid Waveguide Sections

MTW can fabricate any rigid waveguide sections cut to required lengths and any choice of port flange types.  The rigid waveguide material choices are copper, aluminium or Invar, depending on application. The final rigid waveguide assembly will be sand blasted and cleaned and plated. Depending on insertion loss requirements, the plating could be our standard chromate conversion or on a special request can be silver plating.

MTW will fabricate different combinations of straight waveguide, with E-Bend, H-Bend, and combination E/H-Bend waveguide, as requested.

MTW waveguide sections cover from WR284 to WR28, and with choice of flange types. Typical configurations are as follows:

• Rigid waveguide straights-choice of length, and flange type
• Rigid waveguide straights with E-Bend combinations, and flange type
• Rigid waveguide straights with H-Bend combinations, and flange type
• Rigid waveguide straights with E/H-Bend combinations, and flange type

MTW can also do custom waveguide assembly designs based on a source control drawing (SCD). We offer double rigid waveguide on a custom requirement only based on SCD RFQ.
